5219 Photovoltaic Module Special Sealant is a silicone developed specifically for the sealing and bonding of solar cell module frames and junction boxes. It has the characteristics of environmental protection, low odor, and no corrosion. It adopts advanced technology and process requirements, and uses high-purity imported raw materials to ensure the perfect quality of OPIT silicone.
Targeted development for the solar photovoltaic module industry has the following characteristics:
1、No sagging, good thixotropy, fast surface drying speed, tested according to the requirements of PV components.
2、Excellent adhesion to component substrates, including electrophoretic aluminum, PPO/PA plastic, tempered glass, TEDLAR, and other fluorinated backing materials。
3、Excellent electrical insulation performance, cured to form a high-strength flexible rubber body, protecting components from mechanical vibration and external impact。
4、The product has passed UL certification with certification number E335127 and fully meets the requirements of the EU Reach ROHS directive。

Typical Uses

Sealing of aluminum frames for solar photovoltaic modules and bonding and sealing of junction boxes and TPT/TPE back films。

Process used

1、Clean the surface: Clean the surface of the adhesive or coated material and remove rust, dust, and oil stains。
2、Glue application: Cut open the cap of the glue tube, squeeze the glue solution onto the cleaned surface, distribute it evenly, and fix the adhered surface together。
3、Curing: Place the components that have been glued or sealed in air for natural curing. The curing process is a surface to internal curing process. Within 24 hours (Room temperature 25 ℃ and 55% Relative humidity), the adhesive will cure to a depth of 2-4mm. If the location is deep, especially in areas that are not easily exposed to air, the complete curing time will be extended. If the temperature is low, the curing time will also be extended. Before further processing or packaging the bonded components, it is recommended that users wait long enough to ensure that the firmness and integrity of the bonding are not affected.

Note

1、After the operation is completed, the unused adhesive should be immediately tightened and sealed for storage.
2、When reusing, if there is a slight crust at the sealing area, it can be removed without affecting normal use.
3、This product needs to be stored in a cool and dry environment below 27 ℃, with a storage period of 6 months below 27 ℃. During the storage process of the adhesive, there may be a small amount of solidification at the nozzle, which can be removed and used normally without affecting its performance.
