916-3 is a two-component silicone addition system thermal conductive potting adhesive with the following characteristics:
1. After mixing at room temperature, the operating time of the adhesive is relatively long, but it can quickly solidify under heating conditions, which is particularly beneficial for the use of automatic production lines
2. Good temperature resistance and high temperature aging resistance. After curing, the silicone rubber maintains elasticity and excellent insulation performance within the temperature range of -40~250 ℃
3. No shrinkage during curing, with better waterproof, moisture-proof and anti-aging properties
4. The 916-3 has thermal conductivity Flame retardancy, which can reach UL94-V0 level and is certified by ROHS and Reach.

Typical Uses

Used for encapsulation protection of high-power electronic components, module power supplies with high requirements for heat dissipation and temperature resistance, and circuit boards. For example, module encapsulation, automotive HID light module power supply, automotive ignition system module power supply, solar panels, transformers, sensors, etc.

Process used

1. Open components A and B, and first mix them evenly.
2. Mix two components by weight in a mixing tank and mix evenly.
3. Pour the mixed adhesive into the device that needs to be sealed, generally without vacuum defoaming. If high thermal conductivity is required, it is recommended to vacuum defoaming before pouring. Room temperature or heating curing can be used. The curing speed of the adhesive is closely related to the curing temperature, and it takes a long time to cure in winter. It is recommended to use heating method for curing, which takes 10-20 minutes to cure at 80 ℃, and generally takes about 5 hours to cure under Room temperature conditions.

Note

1. The adhesive should be stored in a sealed manner. The mixed adhesive should be used up at once to avoid waste.
2. This product is not a hazardous material, but do not enter or eye contact.
3. After long-term storage, the filler in the adhesive may settle. Please stir evenly before use, as it will not affect the performance.
4. Contact of the adhesive with the following chemicals will cause the 916-3 to not solidify:
1)  N. P, S organic compounds。
2)  Sn, Pb, Hg, As plasma compounds。
3)  Alkyne and Polyvinyl Compounds。
